RE: INVITATION FOR FAMILIALIZATION TRIP TO KENYA IN

April and May 2012 (FAM TRIPS)

We invite you to this year, familiarization trip to Kenya. This being the low/ Shoulder season we thought it wise for Travel Agents / Tour Operators / Home based travel agents or Commercial to know the product that is highly spoken about in Kenya.

PERIOD:

FAM # 05: 13-18 APRIL,2012 -(CLOSED)

FAM # 06 : 12-17MAY,2012 (OPEN)

This trip will give you the idealist view of where your clients will be staying; the distances involved the expected level of service.

PRE & POST NAIROBI HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: If you will require hotel accommodation before arrival or after arrival please use any of the hotels listed on this link. http://www.cruzeiro-safaris.com/business-traveler Beach resorts will also be available if you wish to visit. Please do communicate with us extra service so that we can advice you accordingly.

VISA: For those who will require VISA letters we shall send you upon payment of USD500. IF for any instance your VISA application is rejected in your country for whatever reason, we shall refund you back the USD300. Please note VISA entry fees to Kenya are currently USD50 for a single entry. Please check eligibility of your country. http://www.cruzeiro-safaris.com/visa-requirements

PAYMENTS: We shall require a non-refundable fee of USD200 and deposit of USD300 which totals to USD500 the balance of USD499 will be paid on arrival. The famrates are discounted for the second agent from same company or spouse to 20% discount. Airport transfers will be free.

The cost will include: Full board accommodation on the safari dates only, Transport in Safari Converted Tourist Vans, Park entrance fees, Museum fees, extra lunches or dinners, Non-alcoholic drinks only.

Cost will not include: Tips, Alcoholic drinks, Porterage, Things of personal nature, VISA fees, Travel Insurance.

WEATHER:

April and May are mostly our wet seasons (long rains) therefore please do carry warm clothing and a rainy jacket. We dont anticipate you will be rained on becuase most of time you will be in the vehicles or inspecting the lodges or camps.During the day we get some sunshine moments and some days may not rain at all as the climatic patterns are dramatically changing.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: You may take up your travel insurance in your country or purchase one for USD35 per person upon arrival, through flying doctors.

IN CASE OF CANCELLATION: We may refund amounts except USD200 per person plus bank charges, however there ought to be a reasonable reason as to do so. This is because we do commit to hotels/ lodges/parks for payment on your behalf. Bank charges are governed as Credit cards 10% of the amount being refunded and USD 75 for swift transfers.
