 The Camp Tortilis Camp has unrivalled views of Kilimanjaro rising out of the semi-arid bush studde plains - Africa's highest mountain, and the highest free standing mountatin in the world. Amboseli opens your eyes to Africa's vast space; a photographers and artist's paradise. Famous for over 1000 elephants, also, lion, cheatah, hynea and jackal hunt the prolific plains game; around camp Acacia Tortilis forest is host to many bird species and literally thousands of weaver nests hand above the tents adding a rousing dawn chorus into the mix. How to get there Either by road or by Air. By road will take approx 3 hours on half tarmac and half murram road. Generally you will require a 4WD which you can hire from us. Flying time is approx 1 hour or less and flights to/from are in the morning hours to enable you connect to other destinations easily. One can stay for 1 night or more For reservations Request package through our contacts. Please note this being a luxury camp price varies from USD500-1100 per person per day depending on month of travel.  |
