guides GUIDES AND SCOUTS TRIPS IN KENYA logo

For centuries the Guides and Scouts have paid tribute to their founder Lord Baden Powell. When Baden-Powell first came to Africa in 1894 he fell in love with the African countryside, its wildlife and outdoor lifestyle. In 1912 he married Lady Olave and together worked tirelessly at promoting the Girl Guide and Scout movement in various parts of the World. In 1938, B-Ps were back in Kenya and lived in their new home (PAXTU) in Nyeri.
Lord Baden Powell passed on and was burried as he wished in sight of Mount Kenya in the Nyeri cemetry.
Their home PAXTU has beed preserved in their memory.
Having been a Girl Guide as well i have had the opportunity to interact with many Girl Guides and Scouts from all over the world. After the scouts moot of 2010 i gathered many ideas from the scouts troop i helped organise their safari to the maasai mara and i took the courage to approach one hotel that is soo important to us to negotiate for special rates for the Guides and Scouts of the World.
